Japanese-German Wedding in Austria

Couldn’t have ask for a better start into 2017 than with Yoshimi and Max. From their first email telling me how they fell in love in Tokio and now starting life together in Dusseldorf to our first Skype session, I knew we were right for each other. Just real people really in love. That’s what I want to photograph, what I want to be part off. A deep commitment, a strong family bond. And a ceremony surrounded by the Austrian mountains and a bride who chooses her wedding day to be on her birthday. Seeing Yoshimi’s getting ready pictures still make me smile, her sisters and best friends with her (they so politely spoke english, so I wouldn’t feel excluded) and the international guests throughout made this day so lovely for me.
